Reporting periods explained

Each option in the period control names a window of days, with a line underneath about how much of it has been reported.

Before you start

Plan: Available on all plans.

Periods

The period control offers five periods:

  • Default period: the latest 30 days with reported data, named by its dates (e.g. 10 Jul - 8 Aug 2026).
  • Last 7 days: the last seven calendar days, counted back from today.
  • Last 14 days: the last fourteen calendar days, counted the same way.
  • Quarter to date: the current quarter, from its first day to the last reported day.
  • Custom range: any window you set. The line underneath names the latest date you can choose.

Last 7 days and Last 14 days count from today, so on a facility whose data runs behind, some of those days won't have arrived yet.

Messages under each period

The line under each option tells you how much data that period holds:

  • "38 of 39 days reported": the period can be used, and this is how much of it has arrived.
  • "Latest 30 days with reported data": the period ends on the most recent reported day, not today.
  • "Unavailable - no reported data after 8 Aug": no day in the period has arrived yet. The date is the last day with data.
  • "Unavailable - less than 50% of data reported": too little of the period has arrived to calculate figures.

Important: A greyed-out period isn't a fault, and there's nothing to retry. Choose the default period or Quarter to date instead. See When Occupancy has no figures to show.
