About integrations

Integrations connects Loop IQ to the systems that already hold your data. Open it from Workspace, on the Configuration & integrations tab.

Before you start

Plan: Available on all plans.

• Access: the View integration configurations permission is required to open the page, and Manage integration configurations to make changes.

What Integrations does

Loop IQ populates its products from data held in other systems. The Integrations page is where these connections are set up, monitored and updated.

Integrations sits in your Workspace rather than within a product, because a single connection usually supports several products. For example, a Humanforce connection supplies data to 24/7 RN, Care minutes and QI Program.

All connections are read-only, and Loop IQ does not write data back to your systems. The only exception is the Department of Health connection, which Loop IQ also uses to lodge your submissions.

Who can do what

• View integration configurations: view the page, including which systems are connected and when they were last refreshed.
• Manage integration configurations: connect, update and remove integrations.

Credentials are encrypted, stored securely and never displayed again in full. Users with the View permission can see that a system is connected, but cannot see its key or secret.

Where the data is used

• Services Australia: supplies Occupancy, and supports QI Program, 24/7 RN and Care minutes.
• Workforce systems: supply 24/7 RN, Care minutes and QI Program.
• Clinical and medication systems: pre-fill QI Program.
• Department of Health: lodges your submissions and returns Department data.

Important: connecting a system is the first step only. Before Loop IQ can identify information from an integration, two layers of configuration must be completed within each product that uses it: first the product configuration, then the mapping. For example, workforce role titles must be mapped before 24/7 RN can identify registered nurses. This is product-specific, so it must be completed for every product you use.

Plans

Government and benchmark connections are included free on all plans. External systems that automate your reporting are paid integrations.
