About 24/7 RN
Every residential aged care home must report each month on whether a registered nurse was on site and on duty at all times, and explain any period when one was not. That report goes to the Department through GPMS.
24/7 RN turns that obligation into a monthly routine. It prepares the reporting month, asks the Department's questions in the Department's own words, checks the month for gaps before you lodge, and sends the report through the conformant B2G channel. GPMS remains the system of record.
Plan: Available on all plans.
Who is it for
Facility managers and compliance leads responsible for lodging the monthly 24/7 registered nurse return for one or more homes.
Who can do what
What each person can do in 24/7 RN depends on their workspace role and the facilities they are assigned to. See Roles and permissions.
What Loop IQ Does
Loop IQ records what you report and lodges it through the conformant B2G channel. GPMS remains the system of record.
Loop IQ does not determine your compliance and makes no regulatory finding. The figures on these screens describe the coverage you recorded, nothing more. What follows from that data is a matter for the Department.
What you can do
- Set up your data source, so Loop IQ knows where attendance comes from
- Map your RN roles, so the right people count towards coverage
- Fill the reporting month and record any absences
- Declare and lodge your month to GPMS
- Look back at months you have already lodged
Plans
24/7 RN works on the free plan using Manual or Spreadsheet entry. Connecting a workforce system for automated entry needs a paid plan. See 24/7 RN Plans for more information.
